Human-centric Innovation: Building the future, the “Arduino way”
Discover how Arduino is redefining human‑centric innovation by making advanced technology radically accessible. In this session, Chief Product Officer Marcello Majonchi shares how Arduino’s design philosophy—rooted in simplicity, openness, and hands‑on learning—has empowered over 33 million creators worldwide to build meaningful solutions without needing deep technical expertise. From the origins of Arduino in Italy’s Interaction Design Institute to today’s global ecosystem spanning education, makers, and industry, the talk highlights how Arduino lowers barriers to electronics, IoT, and now AI at the edge.
Marcello introduces the new Arduino UNO Q, powered by Qualcomm® technology, showcasing how democratized hardware and modular, open‑source tools like Arduino App Lab are enabling everyone—from students to professional engineers—to prototype faster, learn intuitively, and push the boundaries of what’s possible. This is the Arduino approach to the future: inclusive, practical, and designed for people first.
